Abstract

Implementation of the Independent Campus Learning Program (MBKM) in the Biology Education Study Program through the Independent Study Academy Binar Program. Education is one of the goals of the Indonesian nation to progress, in which education is a means to improve the quality of human resources. The government’s efforts to achieve this goal are collaborating in the education sector with the industrial world, so that graduates are ready to work. MBKM provides opportunities for students to learn new competencies through various learning activities. Muhammadiyah Bone University has implemented the MBKM curriculum through the Certified Independent Study and Internship (MSIB) program at Binar Academy. The research objective was to find out the form of implementation of the MBKM program in the Biology Education Study Program through the Binar Academy of Independent Studies. This study used a quantitative approach and descriptive research type, in which 12 respondents were students of the Biology Education study program who had attended the MBKM Independent Study program at Binar Academy. The research instrument used was a closed questionnaire and the data obtained was analyzed using descriptive statistics. Based on the research results, the MBKM implementation has a positive impact on the participants, this can be seen from the increase in soft skills and additional competencies obtained.
