This study aims to explore the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar concept at SMK Negeri Campalagian Polman through a qualitative approach with a case study design. By utilizing interviews, observations, and document analysis, this study identified the Merdeka Belajar concept that is integrated into the school curriculum, showing variation in its implementation among teachers and subjects. The findings highlight the key role of school principal support and teacher commitment in responding to this concept, while also revealing barriers related to student assessment uncertainty and the resistance of some teachers to reducing control in learning.
